Jeremy Winchester, the new Director of MCLA Open Shared Arts & Intersectional Culture (MOSAIC), is an Associate Professor of Theatre in MCLA’s Department of Fine and Performing Arts, where until recently he served as Department Chair. Beyond MCLA, he has worked nationally as a designer, director, and administrator, in a 25-year career in the performing arts. From 2012 to 2016, Jeremy served as the Executive Artistic Director of Flint Youth Theatre, a professional theatre for youth and family audiences in Flint, Michigan. From 2016 to 2022, he served on the Board of Directors for TYA/USA, an organization dedicated to providing advocacy and resources in order to strengthen and diversify the field of theatre for young audience. His research and creative agendas are dedicated to fostering the conditions of new work creation and furthering the goals of diversity, equity, inclusion, and access.
