Black History Month

Black History Month

MCLA recognizes and celebrates Black history in February and all year, and we are grateful for the contributions of our Black students, faculty members, and colleagues. The theme for Black History Month 2024 is "African Americans and the Arts". So MCLA will be offering a variety of opportunities for the MCLA community to celebrate Black History Month, and explore how the arts and expression can be used to share Black stories, heal, build community, and express joy and resistance.
