The Department of Health Professions offers campus resources that support student learning and success. "Smart" classrooms are equipped with a full range of multimedia capabilities. At our North Adams Hospital campus, the Nursing and Radiologic houses its own computer and clinical laboratories and often uses clinical simulations and state-of-the-art equipment.

Students have access to a wide array of learning resources and supports within the Department and College.

MCLA provides support for academic life, technology, safety and housing, and financial aid guidance. Students completing their degrees often seek career guidance from the Career Center. Within the department, additional learning resources are provided for the unique needs associated with each program.
Outside the classroom, students have internship and clinical opportunities within the local community, Western MA, Southern Vermont and Albany NY area.
Academic Advising
Students are required to meet with their adviser and the placement coordinator in
their respective program to discuss degree requirements, internships, clinical experiences
and field placements.
