Many Ways to Pay for College

Celebrating Tuition Equity for Massachusetts Students
Massachusetts has now expanded eligibility for in-state tuition to students who have attended Massachusetts high schools for at least three years and earned a Massachusetts diploma, an expansion which will ensure that many non-U.S. citizens are able to access in-state tuition and financial aid rates at public higher education institutions in the Commonwealth. Learn more and apply here.
When you complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) you automatically apply for a wide range of state, federal, and MCLA assistance, such as Pell Grants, Supplemental Education Opportunity Grants, MASS Grants, the College Work Study Program, Perkins Loans, and Federal Direct Student Loans. You can learn more about how to apply for financial aid here.
If you haven't already, review the estimated annual costs to attend MCLA. Especially given the opportunities a quality MCLA education provides, it's surprisingly affordable. 2025-26 MCLA Cost of Attendance
