An administrator, researcher, and educator, before joining MCLA Jerome was an Assistant Professor of Arts Administration at University of Houston-Downtown and an Adjunct Instructor of Arts Leadership at the University of Houston. In addition to working in higher education he has worked for Ash Lawn Opera and the Lake George Music Festival, and he also maintains a busy schedule as a grants panelist and consultant. Jerome’s research work focuses on the use of outreach programs as engines of public value by non-profit organizations and arts administration in rural communities. Jerome holds a BM in Music Business from SUNY Potsdam and both an MA in Arts Policy and Administration and a PhD in Art Education with a concentration in Cultural Policy and Administration from The Ohio State University.
