CERTIFICATE OF Network Security (Cybersecurity)

The Certificate of Network Security (Cybersecurity) provides a foundation in networking, network security, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for computer networks. It provides preparation for career paths in business, education, non-profits, human services, or any endeavors that rely on networks and information technology. Students will learn about certifications such as the GIAC and GSEC; the program does not teach their specific outcomes (21 credits).

Offered fully online, high school diploma or equivalent required.

  • CSCI 210 Network I
  • CSCI 211 Network II
  • CSCI 360 Security I
  • CSCI 363 Security II
  • CSCI 347 Cybersecurity Best Practices
  • Two (2) Cybersecurity-related Electives

    • To receive funding, applicants must register with the Mass Hire Career Center.
  • Employer tuition remission programs that some employers provide. Students should check with HR at their places of employment to learn about funding option
